My new dnd character, Bash. I doodled up concept art before deciding class,
so this isn't 100% accurate to how she's geared up in game. She does have
a big axe she stole off a dwarf and she is a red beefy bitch.
She's spose to be a barbarian draconic-option type kobold, so she's got
resistance to Fear, does big scary roars and is pretty big for a kobold (3'4").
Playing her with a custom/homebrew path too, to really play into that
dragon side (red dragon), so now she can breathe fire too.
She a big fighty bitch, but her goal is to kill the biggest and meanest
monsters so people will respect kobolds and take them more seriously
and not just see them as pests or a threat. Like killing monsters is a hero
thing to do, so she kinda wanna do that. I'm not playing her entirely to that,
since she's kinda stupid and doesn't do long term planning too good.
The name Korthajak was spose to be a merging of two draconic words for
"to bring/give/giver" and "danger" so "bringer of danger" or my preferred
translation "troublemaker" cuz her entire family is just a bunch of fighty
shitheads and scumbags (she's from a criminal family lol). In the setting
we're playing the kobolds in her warren have started to emulate
human/common societies more so they're starting to kinda adopt
family dynamics, proper trading n whatnot.
Within 3 sessions we've managed to get ourselves exiled from the
city/warren by pissing off one of the gangs that basically run a big
part of it and now we're fucking around in the woods tryna get on
good terms with the humies.

Oh no she's hot
Anyway, sounds like a crazy amount of fun to play, hope there will be many moments in game that earn illustrations!
One tragic loss for kobold barbarians in this edition: No version of the Dreadful barbarian that gains size categories when they rage. Ah well.
(My other favorite buff for kobolds, the Giant Size spell, is also long gone. Sigh.)

xD so far she's also the only kobold in the party that's expressed any thirst, even if it was just while drunk tryna hit on randos xD
We kinda have some I've written down to doodle at some point, cuz the party's been heckin goofy and the poor straightman npcs don't know wtf to do with us. We're currently trying to make a giant alpha direwolf our party pet (and possible mount? cuz we smol and it large)
Weeeelll I am running with a homebrew barbarian path and we haven't decide what the 14th path feature should be and because I don't wanna just give her wings (I like the struggle of limited mobility) I am tempted to push for larger size...

Eh heh heh... they gave us the extra-large barbarian! And it's even more hilarious than we dreamed. I'd love to see Bash tactically repositioning her allies by picking them up and fastballing them the way this subclass does! Not to mention what she'd do with access to Thaumaturgy...
Fek if I didn't already go with the homebrew dragon themed path I'd go giant Bash. That sounds hillarious xD
Looking at it now, it sounds really interesting and I think I already have an idea for a small character to have this (cuz going from Small to Large is just visually awesome and funny as fuck).
