(this image is absolutely an attempt to distill the visuals generated in my brain upon listening to this track, so by all means, give it a spin)
“A Sword and their Dogma Blade are an inseparable unity. Assembled together piece by piece under the black eclipse, both contain a piece of the very foe they are meant to destroy – a small undying Bone of the First God, leaking limitless energy into this world.
In living things, bones are at the core of the body, forming its fundament. For the Swords, empty vessels assembled from lifeless material, the Bone pieces in their body and Dogma Blade similarly form their very own foundation and grant them their purpose. As once the wills of the New Gods are inscribed upon the Bone, a Sword serves them until the bitter end on their sacred duties.”
An illustration for my personal setting “Sanctum”, showing the assembly of the Sword under the black eclipse of the New Gods. I’ve been meaning to draw this for two years since hearing the associated music track for the first time - finally, I’ve felt ready to tackle that daunting task.
This would be the introduction for the setting if I had to present it chronologically and in the form of a closed story, where the Sword is gradually assembled in the Alcove around her core and the Dogma Blade, before she is sent out into the world of the mortals.

You can say that again, it took me ages to draw and detail all those little bits, but I really didn't want to hold back to show off her mechanical nature.
Glad you also liked the associated track! Essential for the setting's mood really, and I just love the atmosphere of it so much.
