Cervelet - Family Taur Tower Trio
My good friend
DarkwingDork has done it again! He gifted me with this art from
Cervelet of my family all as taurs out picking some apples. Only were taurs of various things I have been taurs in! I am a Zebrataur of course, with my wife a rattaur sitting on her haunches on my back, holding up my daughter who is a Tricerataur! Truly a blessed Trio of Taurs in a Tower!
Thank you, DarkwingDork, and thank you Cervelet! This is beautiful and so heart-warming!
Dominus vobiscum
P.S. They're Honeycrisp so you know it's worth the effort!

"Ordinary life in extraordinary circumstances," is one of my favorite motifs in fantasy art. It lends depth to places we imagine going, or the people we imagine being. Like, we admire the epic heroes and adventures, but those are acknowledged as extraordinary. A scene like this, a family out apple picking, is something we could just about envision being real.
Good on your friends for appreciating such things.

I hear you. Closest we get to doing that around here is going to get a Christmas tree. There's an old abbey some ways from home that's been growing Christmas trees for almost a century now. No pre-cuts either; you go out onto the field with a saw and cut your own. Families bring their dogs and such, and make a day out of getting a tree.
Perhaps inspiration for your next family scene commission? Tis the season, after all.

Beautiful! We used to have a big drive out to a Christmas Tree farm that let you cut your tree down. I remember drinking hot cocoa and riding in a open trailer from the parking lot out to where the trees were. Now we just have a place with pre-cut trees, but they do still serve hot cocoa and cider so there's that!
Not a bad idea there!
