This kobold friend comes from the colder regions, and is mostly covered by fur with only a few scattered scales! They have a pet mouse whose home is conveniently carried on the back.. except that the mouse can escape and prefers to travel on his owner's head or tail. Now the cage mostly serves as an unconventional backpack. Maybe it'll be needed eventually!
