Schloss Seehof - Lunz am See
This is the project I was working on. It is just a cropped shot of some sorts, but I post this just to give you an impression on the central image that gave me nightmares. Very small and detailed and the paper didn´t respond well on too much pencil pressure and on top, the order was to make it look dark with pencil and with no gel marker (that would have led to black dots and puddles all over the surface, because the paper reacts like a sponge on all sorts of inks...)
two more of this to go, one with a different top image and there is another order to redo a painting from 1803 with pencil art. ............

Thanks much.
The original artist was a genius with pencils. I still could learn some tricks from him. Although the source material was damn small to work with and the paper was tricky as hell (too little pressure with the pencil and the shading was to bright, too much pressure and you had a pitch black line.... or a hole in the paper...^^;)

While I do like how skilled you are and this definitely is one of the best demonstrations of it because you've been so careful and the beauty speaks for itself and you.
This makes me want to shove some Pico de Gallo or a ghost pepper in the commissioner's asshole and pray that it burns like the fires both from hell and heaven's wrath because the sheer persnickety nature of the goddamn request being related to the choice of paper.

Thank you very much, big partner. *bows deeply*
It is an extremely time consuming job, because the source material is just about the size of a postcard.
Plus, those locations are not that far away where I live - well at least they looked like that in 1892, when the original pencil picture was made^^;

With such fine detail on a small surface area and such a need for care, seeing this we can appreciate just how intricate and delicate the work is and just how much labour it will have taken to come two thirds of the way. With two left to complete I hope this will go smoothly for you though I imagine it will be very time consuming and a great relief when the last one is finally complete.
yes, that´s right.
Unfortunately my client is often jumping from one kind of order to something totally different the next moment, what makes it hard to catch up for me. I often simply don´t know what the current order involves. Different kind of paper for the next order, different details on one of the postcard images, the size of a certain order (DIN A4 or bigger)
It is not easy to work with this person. And now I hardly receive any infos at all...

It certainly seems very complex and pedantic with their specifics for the order, not to mention with everything else. If they've now not providing you with much information that just makes it more awkward. I imagine you'll probably not be doing further projects for them in future given this experience.
