Yoho lads,
I've already posted an announcement about my game "Indemon Tales" earlier, and I've decided to make this thing publically available, now. It's still incomplete, but I'd love to know how my project is received by the broad public, so feel free to download! It's free :>
If you don't know what it's about, and you want to know, you can check the small trailer linked in my other submission, first. If you have any questions, you want to give feedback, you need help, you're stuck or you want to report a bug, feel free to write me as well. Thanks and hope you have fun.

Downloaded and checked it out. It seems really well made overall. A couple of cents:
- The portraits could be a bit more expressive. I can't really tell what anyone's feeling or what the little facial movements mean on most of the characters.
- Name tags would be helpful for identifying who's speaking.
- The word "guy" is used to refer to Gwen multiple times.
- That's a really long intro! Not just Act 0, but all of the time spent just reading dialogue and going through tutorials lasts a while.
- I'm a little concerned about the protagonist's lack of agency. I don't know what his history or goal is, but joining the monsters' side so readily when they're in war with your species seems kinda off.
- The protagonist's lack of animations is also concerning lol

Ty for your feedback! I really like the idea of name tags, I think I'll implement that now.
The protagonist is meant to be a somewhat blank slate, so he doesn't really have an agency, if that makes sense. Kind of like a Pokemon Protagonist or the Undertale MC. And well, I wouldn't say you join the monster guild of your own free will, since you started as a prisoner but only became part of them because of the pact that Gwen made.
And thanks for playing!

Thanks for putting up the freebie, it's pretty fun! Excuse the wordy explanation for my point about agency below, I tend to type a lot.
I know silent, customizable protagonists don't usually have a lot of agency, but their actions are usually a little bit easier to follow since they have an established goal (the Pokemon protag wants to become a pokemon master, the Undertale protag wants to escape the cave). The Indemon protag seems to want to escape at first, but pretty quickly gives that up. Gwen gives him autonomy after just one day, so he could just betray her and leave at any time. I feel like there should be some extra explanation for him staying, given the whole "war against the humans" thing. Maybe just a nudge, showing that he cares about the monsters, too, or that he has some other reason for staying with Gwen? I mean, the village he was found in was pillaged.
I haven't played through the whole alpha yet (it's bigger than I was expecting!), so I don't know if any of this stuff is explained later. It was just a little weird seeing it in Act 1.

A very impressive game. I have played to ACT.4 (I guess it’s the end of this demo, there is no obvious hint of the end). The game play, the art style and the BGM selection are all fascinating.
Something I have to say:
·The UI is a little bit confusing. When I first saw it, I can’t get any useful informations, I can’t even know which is consumable items and which is skills, it took me nearly half an hour to understand.
·There are some issues with the sound effect of FIREBOLT. When shoot at a short distance, the sound was cut out or even no sound.
·I had some loading issues when I first went through TWISTED BURROW. After Gwen coming out the cave, the next scenario didn’t appear, I could only hear BGM and watch the black screen. (I loaded the game, played that dungeon once more, game backs to normal.)
· The using of magic LIGHT should be limited. Though Gwen has noticed me that, I can still cast it till the screen couldn’t see anything, I could only exit the dungeon. I don’t think it’s the right way to deal with the gameplay.
·After defeating the dungeon boss, bullets stayed on the field for not a short time, that’s rarely to see.
Some advices:
·The dungeon layouts are all the same, I think add more types of rooms is not a bad idea, something like long corridors, larger rectangle rooms, more corner and dead-ends. Rather than the box-like room next to another box- like room.
·The visual effect of skill ICESHIELD is indistinctive, it looks like some fireflies around the player. I prefer something like ice storm. (think about the lightning shield in Warcraft3) It would be more decent.

Thanks a lot for playing and for your words! :D
Yeah, I agree with most of the things you mentioned. I've never encountered any loading issues myself, but that's something I'll take a look at right away.
I'm also with you on better visual effects and more complicated dungeon layouts, it's just a lot of work and they don't have the highest priority right now.
Oh, and yes. End of Act 3 is also the end of this current version.
