After a bit the creature peeked out from the brush around the cabin and sniffed at the air. It made its way a bit cautiously to the bowl of soup that had been left. Leaning down he nudged the bowl a few times with his nose before taking a small lap at it. It was still warm and he fully crouched down as started lapping the soup up. It didn't take long for him to finish off the contents of the small bowl and nudged it a bit more with his nose, eventually tipping the empty bowl over. The fish soup had been nice and he found himself a bit sad it was gone so quickly. This was a pleasant treat from the strange villager and was surprised something so tasty could be made from a simple fish.
After waiting a little bit he wandered off back into the forest before Maria returned. Her hands felt much better now after she had soaked them in the cool water for a while. She figured might do less labor heavy chore tomorrow to give them time to heal. As she walked toward the cabin she saw the bowl turned over in the grass. Picking it up she saw it had been emptied before tipped over and smiled a bit. Happy that the soup had been to accepted. It made her feel better she was able to thank the creature more properly for the tilled garden.
