Jeff is the son of the woman from the "One thing leads to another" strip and the sea lion. Up until he happened, people were sure that sort of thing was 100% safe sex. (Well, unless the sea lion or whatnot ate you). It turned out to be only 99.9999% safe. It's about a one in a million shot for a human and animal to produce a child. Jeff is that one in a million shot.

This is all the Mer's fault. Their centuries of fucking everything with a pulse means that nearly any oddly intelligent animal probably has some Mer ancestry, and Mer are uncannily able to make babies with anything. It's rare, but it happens.

Naturally Jeff could only really end up as a lifeguard. He endured the sometimes harsh bullying in school any such freak of nature will suffer and somehow kept the cheerful nature that would serve him so well. Now he's a fixture on the Friendly Beach.

He is about 6'6" tall and due to his long body and short legs he weighs about 400 pounds. Jeff is something of a manwhore and while he is attentive to his job, he is also always on the lookout for who he's going to be doing after work. Luckily he works on exactly the right beach for that, since most of the people who come to Friendly Beaches really like animals.

Jeff sometimes deals with problem animals by simply swallowing them alive, having inherited the ability from his sea lion father. He is perfectly capable of swallowing and digesting a whole human, but he's more interested in finding someone to swallow him, if you know what I mean.

Just the same, someone comes by from time to time who wants to hear a sea lion burp from inside the sea lion. Sometimes Jeff is that sea lion.
