For a moment, it seemed like it wouldn't happen. Scar was on the ropes. The pride was against him and even the hyenas' loyalty was wavering. Simba and all the pride knew of his treachery and a legitimate heir was now claiming the kingdom. But it just wouldn't have been right to have him go quietly into the night without clashing with the nephew who had been the catalyst of his Machiavellian actions.
