I love this! Donryu was a recent discovery, and I'm glad I happened across him. If you want a sketch like this, he's open for commissions again I think. You should check him out! He's even using this as an example of what an "upgraded sketch" gets ya. :)

I'm sure you've heard this lots of times, but there are many grades of coffee. Please don't tell me you based your detestations purely on Starbucks or something. ;)
I admit, it's an acquired taste. But so was tea, for me. It took 6 destitute years in college to get used to coffee without milk or sugar. Now I'm a snob about it. *grin*

There is one kind I had at a friend's house. It involves brewing the coffee COLD. Takes like 12 hours, but it comes out so smooth and flavorful, without that bitter or acidic bite. And if one desires, one can heat it up in a pot or a microwave, and it maintains its smoothness. Really awesome. Actually, coffee is extremely sensitive to brewing temperature. When brewed with hot water, a few degrees can spell the difference between a delicious pot and a 'burned' pot (acidic / bitter).
Tea's a heck of a lot more tolerant to brewing methods. A lot more consistent, too.
Do you have a favorite brand? A friend of mine drinks a lot more tea than I do, and while he likes experimenting with different brands, he keeps falling back to his old standby, Lipton. O.O
