Finished the painting, did a little touch up, painted the handle (going for aged leather) What do you think?

nothing too fancy. I took the gun apart, sanded off the nerf logos then sprayed all the parts with a cheap primer (this might have been a mistake). Pretty much I just took a metallic finish spray paint (gold and aluminum in this case) and sprayed the appropriate parts. I took my primsmacolor black marker and went over the little groves to make them pop a bit and finally just used some model paint ("snake bite leather" brown) I had from Warhammer40k miniatures and painted the handle. I used long strokes and didn't dilute the paint like you normally would because I didn't want a smooth coat on the handle.
It honestly wasn't that much work.

Nerf guns are painted outrageous and bright colors to indicate that they are toy weapons. Most toy weapons have some orange coloring to indicate such.
While that's a sweet paint job, be careful with it if you take it outside, some moronic soccer mom may call the police.
And I personally like the C-60 Longshot ^.^
