The Story:
"After completing yet another long day at work, Scarlet was ready to head home and crash on the couch. Little did she know, a storm was beginning to pass through the city. What's worse is that she wasn't prepared for it. After twenty minutes of sprinting through thick rain, the cop finally made it home. She removed her socks and boots, ready for the heater to warm her up. Unfortunately, right as she turned the device on, the power went on.

Strange, considering all the other houses still had their power working.

It was at that moment Scarlet remembered her aunt was meant to pay the electric bill that month.


" Scarlet Crescent: Man, what a tough day, first that incident at work, and now all this rain. I can't believe my boots and socks got so soaked through, I guess I should have better prepared for a flood event. Hmmm.. I suppose I could put my feet up and relax for a while...I just hope nobody stops by for a visit and sees me like this.
