Here he has drawn Rooth, in his parcour days, posing with his wheels. Even the runners of Mirror's Edge have to take a break and get out of the city now and then (sometimes by force!). I love how this came out, especially the environment. I mean, of course, Rooth is awesome, but I've got enough pinups of him to choke a cow. Here's something interesting. And I do believe the scene will be making an appearance somewhere in my writings. (yeah, I know, they're like ghost writings, I keep talking about them and not putting anything up .. don't hold your breath, they're so not worth it, but there will be something in a month or two, I swear)

^_^ You should have seen the email exchange. It was like, "Hi, I want blah blah, here are some ideas. Blah blah blah blah."
"Okay, here's what I need and how to get it to me."
"Ok, here you go."
"Great, I'll get started by X date, and be finished by Y date."
"Wow, that's specific."
...[time passes]...
"You're next in the queue."
"Cool!"
....
"Ok, done. Here's a thumbnail, send me the balance."
"Sent."
"Here's the finished version."
Seriously, even though they had some sort of technical setback along the way, it hardly was noticed in the transaction at all.
... oh, hey, I just noticed the reflection in the car's hood. Electrical towers. That's freakin' sweet. :)

Wow, that is specific. I just usually get in a preview sketch at least a week after payment to let the commissioner know that I'm not screwing them out of money. There are some times when I get a little "intimidated" by a commission and just don't know where to start. Thats when I get into a reference search overload to spark up ideas.
It helps a lot, and I'm really happy somone as young as I am (and this girl named "iconsnowaro: who is the same age as me and is twice as awesome) are getting a fair amount of business.
Okkaaay, enough blabbing, time to drool over this more xDD
(sees the reflection) ...Damn <3

zomg! *watches snowaro *
Umm, yeah, if you two get a nice smooth procedure set up early, and stick to it, that will help a lot for years to come. I imagine some commissioners don't really appreciate a good smooth transaction as much as they should, until they have a few crummy ones. Then they're like, "Man, that was terrible, why can't they be more like PrettyKitty13?" That's what you want people to say. ;)
