Battle Stance May Sa by DieValquiria

An ominous smog bellowed from the hunchbacked shadow beast as it lumbered through the city business district; fiery embers illuminated the jagged maw below its flattop, eyeless head. It brought down its thick hand in a fist to demolish a skyscraper to the ground.
“It ends here fiend,” came a voice atop a skyscraper to the side. The brilliant gold accents of the Mightyena samurai warrior goddess sparkled in the midday sun. May Sa Muneh drew her sword and held it across her front.
The beast turned to roar as the goddess bolted forward across the rooftops like hopscotch. A confident smirk crossed her mouth as the beast showed no sign of defending itself from the impending attack. “Five times my height means nothing pitiful fool,” she muttered.
With a fist drawn, the beast threw a catastrophic punch right at the goddess only for her to jump onto the arm at it struck the building she was on. May Sa’s single thin wedge geta sandals punctured its hide for traction. At the elbow joint May Sa jumped right for the head; her katana igniting into a wicked black fire.
The beast’s maw start to open but the goddess moved ethereal fast. She swung a leg up and cracked into the beast’s chin, making the whole head rise up. Her body spun in a backflip and as she came upright again, she slashed across the neck projecting a power further than her blade physically reached clean through.
May Sa gracefully descended back to the city with her arms out. As the beast’s body already started to disintegrate from her holy power, the goddess landed on one geta shattering the street like a spider web of cracks.
Giving a satisfied exhale, she sheathed her katana with a victorious smile. May Sa brought her other sandal down only to hear a familiar crunch of glass and aluminum. Peering down she saw a flipped over bus split in half by her thick wedge line.
The goddess shrugged and sighed, “I swear I am a magnet to these things.”
I present to you an absolutely stunning piece of my warrior goddess May Sa Muneh the Mightyena done by the incredible artist DieValquiria. It’s really hard for me to grasp just how good they are. @.@
Excellent attention to detail and great understanding of textures and shading; they are definitely in the league of best artists I’ve ever personally commissioned. And on top of that they are an absolute delight to work with!
Please check out DieValquiria’s submission at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43174783/ along with their other art as well!
