Well, it was for me because I was on a trip to Tennessee at the time and it only took me about 45 minutes off my original route. It's very entertaining but also quick to get through. Theres a fairly large sized walking area where you get surrounde by goats, kangaroos, peacocks and other things, all of which are let loose and will follow you as you walk around and some even let you pick them up. In addition to that there's a large caged exhibit area with tigers, monkeys, lizards, and birds. there's also an additional birdhouse with several exotic species. There is a giraffe petting area with a tower you can climb and be on eye level with them and feed them. All of that kept me entertained for a little over an hour. (probably would have lingered longer but I had small kids to keep track of) Then there is the main attraction, which is the drive through zoo where llamas, bison, gazelles, wildebeast, deer, moose, ostriches, emu, zebra, ducks, camels and other things are. hat part is a large path a few miles long. You'll see most the animals in packs out in the fields are lazing under trees, but there ar no fences separating you from the animals. They will come right up to the car and let you pet, feed, and take pictures of them. The only rule for that area is that you must stay inside your vehicle, do not wander off the path, and that when you are stopped looking at some animals and other vehicles are wanting to pass you move to the side of the road to allow them passage. All in all it was a great time and worth the money. (which I can't recall how much that was.)
How MUCH of a trip is it for you?
