ah it was a greenland shark. well but from this pov a 7 gills shark would fit as well, they too have such a round snout and a dark colour.
but since a dorsal fin is absent it has to be a greenland shark.
I know them because sharks are a hobby of mine. I read about 11 books about them and try my best to encourage their protection + I'm a diver and as soon as I'm experienced enough i'll travel to egypt and pay the sharks a visit^^

Well, he's also got the eye parasites! I thought that would be the giveaway.
I am also a shark lover. They really aren't dangerous to humans and are fascinating animals. Going to Egypt sounds awesome. I am also a diver, although I haven't had the opportunity to dive in over a decade, and I was very amateur.

lol I just got my licence (padi owd) 1 year ago and since then I did the advanced owd course + 2 fun dives not more. and everything in murky german lakes. But it still was impressing how much one could see down there.
And Egypt is ideal to some degree since I can fly there rather fast, it is the cheapest to reach salt water dive site if you live in germany and there are many reefs and sharks and rays etc.
It is just pretty hard to stay healthy with the food and hygene conditions down there.
