lol x3 midnight releases seem silly to a lot of people, I don't go to a lot of them, but last night was easy and quick

Left around 11:15-ish and got to gamestop around 11:30-sh
Went in to get my number so i can be in line.
Sketched for a big till 12 then we got organized to go in, sketched more and chatted
got game at 12:15-ish and got home around 12:30

Not bad =3

I get off of work at midnight and I wanted to pull up to one of the Game Stops on the way home and ask if the new Kingdom Hearts game was out yet. (BTW, it is. ;)

P.S. Faved for the awesome sketches, not Halo Retread... I mean Reach. ;)

I have the new Kingdom Hearts game, I don't like it...

Horrible load times EVEN with the max install size (624mb)
Extremely long cute scenes, which I don't mind in games (loved the Xenosaga games) but for a portable it's bad if you need to save before your system dies or need to stop.
And typical Sqaure stuff now a days, they made it complicated, I love KH for the characters and the worlds, they just added a bunch of "in-depth" stuff that turned me off the game horribly

Maybe i will play through it one day... but so far the DS KH was much better

As for Halo, I hear a lot of people ragging on the serise, I don't play the multilayer, just co-op.... people just go "blah blah shooter" or say it's no different then the others, to me they were all unique.

Halo: combat evolved - Fun game, too much damn backtracking
Halo 2: MORE fun, the story was told better, guns were gimped
Halo 3: Did look a lot better then 2, I like the story the same way and he guns were much better, loved the 4player co-op
Halo Wars: Not bad for a RTS game, I just got it not too long ago and it plays well, I love the overall tone too
Halo ODST: BORING! too dark, played the same city level over and over near the beginning, not fun to me...
Halo Reach: So far very nice, graphics are amazing to me, got some good story telling so far and the combat is different from 3, but so far is very enjoyable.

I didn't assume that you did, I was just giving my opinion. After the first Halo I had no real desire to play the rest. Especially since it required an Xbox of one type or another (I played the first one on the PC).

Not every game is for everone, but I do enjoy Halo, and my current fave system is the 360... but I own all the systems and love them all :D

I have my PS3 sent off to get cleaned and get new thermal paste put in, it's a 60GB system so I want to make sure it stays working x3

ACK >.< I was not feeling that great last night, stomach was kinda meh and was up earlier to send my PS3 off for preventative maintenance (60GB model, sounds like a HOOVER VAC WHEN TURNED ON!) so I only played a little bit past when you hit a drop ship and get dropped over to a new area, it seems good... better then ODST at least XD

It was kinda hard to sketch, it was dark and it was hard at first trying to place my drawing pad on my legs.... then it was hard to sketch when I was standing in line XD

WOW o.o my gamestop started things off at 10, I was gonna go with my iPad and watch a movie or ghost hunters while I waited, but I was not feeling so well...

I actually was gonna wait till morning to get it, but then I decided that I'd rather get it at midnight and stay in today to play it xP

Our game stop is relatively small.. like half the size of normal ones. They had over 200 preorders out here so people like my fiance and his friends started going a bit earlier. He had class earlier that night and got out at 8:30. They grabbed food and headed to gamestop to wait. When they got there 50 people were already there. They got home around 12:30 though and finished the game by 7. At least finishing it in the quick as can be run through while absorbing nothing.

I don't think I'll ever understand midnight releases.. I'm always to tired for that kinda thing..

i waited in line for 2 hours about for FFXIII on midnight release i live next to full sail which is a huge media industry university and the game stop is right nearby so all the game art and comp animation students and such were there waiting to get it x3 i got it for ps3 but my ps3 is broken so i haven't been even able to play it yet :/once i get a job tho i am fixing my ps3 and spending my days off playing FFXIII :3

XD I guess artists always envy eachother for different things, I find that I wish I could do complicated sketches but I have become so lazy when I draw, the sketches are not usually very complete and I do the details in the inking stage. Lazy lazy lazy lily XD!

Some people on FA have such beautiful sketching styles and I eeennnvvvyyyyyyy ;o;!

I really wouldnt saw my inks are better than yours... I have always fancied working with vectors but I never get around to it. SAI's vectors are useful for straight lines when doing backgrounds but they're quite basic compared to illustrator or photoshop.

I don't use vectors o.o;; I never really wanted to do that, I have been messing with sai trying to get it to seem like I am working on paper, not more digital x3

All artist add details when they go to the ink phase and stuff, it's just with me most of my art stays sketches so I poor in details a lot of the times :P

When I do ink some stuff it's some times daunting cause of some of the details X__x

Your inks are so smoooooooth o.o;;;;!! Do you use a regular tablet or a cintiq/tabletpc?? I tohught I asked you a long time ago about whether your inks were illustrator and I think you said they were, my mistake X3
