On notes pertaining to the name... Ship full of cybernetic dead, where their minds have been dumped, insane, into the main computer of the ship, only to animate their dead, slowly rotting bodies via telepresence... True technozombies.

Well I idea I have isn't to do with cyber undead but altogether more paranormal and unknown. The ships aren't crew with any known life form - just a blue glow that doesn't show up on any sensors other than visual optics and the naked eye. Some of the dead ships encountered are so damaged that they would be considered floating wrecks - ship systems and engines are scrap metal, yet the dead ship still moves around
as if it was undamaged. It's a deep space ghost story.
