Character/Backstory: An aspiring botanist attending university, Phyllis is at peace when gardening. She's particular interested in flowers, however is a bit less calm in her everyday life. Phyllis is on edge around others, she thinks that people are making fun of her and talking behind her back. Despite this, she puts on a mask of false confidence that comes off as self-centered to others. Phyllis rejects others before they can reject her. This results from being part of an unwanted litter of seven pups, her siblings weren't taught to handle their emotions and lashed out in anger just like their parents. This created an unhappy household with a constant cycle of rejection. Phyllis convinces herself that no one understands and no one will, which keeps her weary of others. Despite this, Phyllis is intelligent, diligent, and an extreme perfectionist. She loves to draw, and is always sketching garden ideas, she will work long and hard on something until it is as best as possible. Phyllis does actually listen to others and even admires a few, but feels too much fear to be vulnerable. She display gestures of kindness to them, such as purchasing gifts, but her cold exterior keeps most at bay.
