It's somewhat unbelievable that Leo would be universally loved; also hypocritical that he should push his car-safety innovations, then laugh at China's attempts to solve its own problems.
The worst kind of administration is one that's convinced of its rightness, makes decisions for everyone and derides anyone who objects.
You hint that Leo's counterparts are leading several other nations. This is very bad; who wants to live in a world with all its leaders being of the same mind?
The left insists on "diversity" of skin color but conformity of thought. This situation smacks of similar policies.
I say all of this not to put you down, but in hopes you'll examine your thinking. Only God can run a perfect government, and Leo sure isn't God.

I know it seems exaggerated, but I write these thing to make it very clear that it is NOT reality. You are correct to say that only God can run a perfect government, but it's also worth nothing He is the one who put world leaders there in the first place.
Also, Leo's parallels share many beliefs he has, but they are all independent of one another. They think and act independently of one another, and part of that comes from the cultures of the nation they represent. They're only in office, however, because the humans wanted them in and the corruption that was in charge out.

Thanks for clarifying, and for keeping a cool head.
Perhaps you could show some of the opposition (pretty sure there is some)? Surely it's no fun getting into your car only to have it refuse to move.
...I enjoy Christian rap, by the way; what I don't like is noise masquerading as music.

You and I may have something in common. The rap my characters were saying was garbage in the story was only referring to the secular (non-Christian) rap where every other word seems to be a profanity, and this is the rap I tend to hear if the person driving in the car next to me on the road has the car radio at full volume. They're just begging to go deaf and will eventually have to learn sign language.
The last time the real me listened to any rap music, it was by PJ & Duncan (a.k.a. the British TV double act, Ant & Dec):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_sJmIQrH54
No profanities here. Rap's been around for longer than that, but this is a 1990s hit.

The automobile and auto insurance industry would've required new cars around the world to have interlock devices and anti-drunk driving technology anyways so governments around the world would have no choice but to allow this. Questionable, but that is the only way to keep auto insurance costs as low as possible. Many of the international organizations in our world are influenced by corporations so in my RPs with Leo, that influence parallels in it as a byproduct of global technological advancements. Some things are rather inevitable.
Zax: Great power comes with great responsibility.
Marshall: One year into your presidency and now you understand the stress of being President of this great country. I'm amazed you haven't even bellowed so far.
Chuong: I'm outside of America so I can't do anything but watch. So far, I don't seem worried. I know you don't like rap music and neither do I, but that will always exist in America and according to the laws there, you have to be okay with their existence.

Leo: I must be thankful I've had no reasons to bellow. If I do, I die, and Tom gets the job. That's the contract the heavens have placed on me. Plus, I just ignore rap music; I know there's people that enjoy it. CNG doesn't know that; it's helping the genre drop to an all-time low, and the music I love, military march music, to an all-time high. It wants the whole world to be just like Kriegland, but those CNG reasoners are now saying it also thinks I'm the ideal role model. But am I really?
Super C: It's not even considering Cripto or any other possible G-52.
Tom: Not even me. It's all about Leo.
Leo: And I'm not happy about that.
