Goe Goe was the 67th Monster of the week in Ep.62 of the UFO Robot Grendizer Anime.

It had Red, Blue, Orange gray color scheme; Goe wore a jet booster in the back with fixed wings and had tentacles for fingers; its head was the that in the shape of a duck, with wart like protrusions on top, it also posses wart prostitution in the fore arms. Besides Flight and Strength, Goe could spew Red Vegatron Fire from the mouth, fired Missiles from the spikes in the sides. It sport a blade hidden in a compartment in abdomen area, and the Tentacle fingers would extend and grapple onto an enemy.

A string of wrecks is caused by Swans, smashing onto any vehicle and exploding on contact: starting with Military Jets, then a Train been derailed. On his way home from school, Goro finds a Swan who seems to be hurt and takes care of it, while Team Grendizer learns of the unknown explosions taking place, suspecting Vega ins involve. At the Vega Base, Zuril report to Gandal of the Swan Missiles Plan, though hit their targets, the 3rd went missing (Goro's Swan). Despite the failure of one, Gandal see the results as positive and orders to implement the plan in full, with the Vega Beast to be at the ready.

As Zuril captures a whole flock of Swans, while Gandal report of the plan to the King: using small amount of Vegatron Explosives to attack the base and Grendizer (is essentially a rehash of the same idea with the Zune Zune rats, using Earth Animals for the surprise attack, though by air and with a Beast to go to boot this time). Gandal takes off with the Beast, while Zuril releases the now modified Swans.

Meanwhile, Goro Swan seems to take for the worst, and he and Dambi rushed to the lab to ask Umon for Help, but he refuses, not been a vet of course; at that moment, the first Swan arrived, and land in the Basin, the group finding it suspicious as it not normal for them to be here at this time of year. Not far, Goro convinces Duke to talk in Umon to do something for his Swan, and this time it is taken to the lab, but Umon attention is struck by a weird glow from the birds eye.

Elsewhere, the Fortress Emerges and Goe Goe is launch to begin the attack on coastal town of Nagisa; Umon is inform while checking the Swan with a Geiger Counter and is soon shock to learn it reacts, suspecting the bird to have Vegatron Radiation.

Quick note: this leads to a small plot hole, since Duke was MANY times close to this thing and he didn't flinch as he thus by just been close to any source of Vegatron, and any amount even small causes him great pain, as it happened in Ep.37, where Commander Marienne, who disguise herself as his late Mother, wore a small ring in her finger and IT emitted Vegatron Energy.

Duke and Team Grendizer ready for launch as the rest of the Flock of Swan arrives, covering the entire area expecting for their targets. Umon stops the group from take off, informing of the Goro Swan, possessing a Vegatron missile in the beak (I think it meant Warhead) small to carry, but still far destructive. Goro's swam got injured, and lost its power, rendering it inert. Remembering the past incidents, the group assume the Flock surrounding the Damn, may have been turned as well. Thinking of a plan, the Hangar doors open, calling the attention of the Swans expecting the Spazers to come out, but Grendizer is launched in one the secret tunnels (the No.7 Waterfall Tunnel) having a clear path; the Mecha flies over the base, and Swan take flight after it, allowing the Spazers to be launched. Duke opens fire to the Swan and discovers indeed they are explosive – their plans now exposed, Zuril orders the birds to attack Grendizer; with regret, and no way to save the rest of the animals without defusing their warheads, Duke unleashes Space Thunder, destroying the whole Flock.

Gandal orders Goe to destroy the city before Grendizer arrived, but the Spazers arrive first and confront the monster, getting one of its wings been blown off by Driller Spazer, but Goe in return scorches the ship, and Maria crashes on the Beach. Koji and Maria try to deal with Goe with no avail, when Grendizer Arrives.

The Mecha ejects and kicks the beast into the water, then Grendizer hits it with Anti Gravity Storm. Duke tries to finish Goe with Double Harken, but the Beast tackles him on time, Goe then opens its abdomen releasing a Blade and then grapples Grendizer with its Tentacle Fingers; the Monster lifts itself and the Mecha and throws it back into the sea; Goe dive bombs with the blade pointing at Grendizer, but Duke reacts and cuts the Monster with Double Harken - both disappear beneath the waves, only for an explosion to rip through the water, yet Grendizer emerges victorious, much to the relief of his teammates.

After the Battle, Goro's Swan now fully recover, is let go to fly with a new flock of Swans.
