Reproduction of a panel of Elzie Segar's Thimble Theatre/Popeye for the 12th of August, 1938. Part of the ``King Swee'pea'' story, currently rerunning on Comics Kingdom's Vintage page although we're not there yet. In the story Popeye and gang are in the land of Demonia where underground ``Demons'' grab hold of and pull people down with occasionally sinister intent.
