Finally got this done, originally I was working on something else but couldn't work up the energy to proceed with the drawing so I decided to go with a different idea. Of course, that also took a while, as I tried to get the head right and also find good references for the uniform, not made easy by the fact that, for the past two months now, our router blocks me from accessing military and gun-themed websites for some stupid fucking reason (and I can't access the parental controls because I don't know the stupid thing's password and my dad's generally too much of a pain in the ass to ask for such most of the time). I just said 'screw it' and wrapped things up, albeit not helped by the lack of pencils in that sort of variety of brown/beige that I needed for the dragon's uniform.
This fellow here is a Welsh dragon, a member of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) during the Second World War, a former Royal Marine specializing in demolitions and infiltration that made him invaluable as an agent. Performing missions in France, Spain, Belgium, Algeria, and Morocco throughout the war, conducting all manner of missions against the Communards and Republican Spanish, most of which involved sabotage of some sort; this culminated in the infiltration of two secretive factories hidden deep within the Pyrenees mountains in the winter of 1944-45: the first being an Air Force facility manufacturing Arsenal and SNCASE jet fighters and the second produced Revanche rocket-propelled guided bombs that fired on the front lines, as well as Brussels, Strassburg, Metz, Amsterdam, and London. The destruction of these facilities warranted the medal awarding for the dragon's courage and tenacity in spite of all odds and when the SOE was dissolved in 1946, he joined the Royal Marines Commandos wherein he led missions against the Japanese during the Great Pacific War.
I was thinking he could be in the player character in a Medal of Honor-inspired FPS I could eventually make on Unity, if I knew how to (and if my current computer is suited for game development) and if shit hasn't hit the fan yet, we lose power, and have to live up in the mountains to evade the government.
