I made this design after my grandmother passed as a dedication for her to get as a back tattoo… money has been more then tight so this design has sat in my files. I have used it for stickers but the meaning behind it…

Little info my grandmother adored humming birds so I chose that as the base for the design, she passed away which is why I gave it the skull head to symbolize her passing but memory and love left behind in family and friends, I put the diamonds in the eye sockets because her birthstone was the diamond and after fighting 4 different types of cancer in her life starting at the age of 22 she definitely proved she was as strong and brilliant as any diamond… even at the very end she was happy and cheerful and didn’t let the cancer destroy her. The yellow glow represents her favorite color because like most things she loved bright and loud colors which again were only matched by her friendliness and energy. And lastly the twig like ruins or tribal markings I added for the long journey she pushed through always breaking through the obstacles in her way with determination. She was an amazing and wonderful women who is greatly missed years after her passing.
