"Heh, you seem to be following me as much as my own shadow now. Hm...I do need to call you something, what about that? Shadow?" Maria said as watched the creature for his reaction. He seemed a bit puzzled for a moment at the question then leaned down toward her giving a soft snort. She chuckled softly.
"I guess I'll take that as a yes. Alright then. Hello Shadow, I'm Maria" She said holding her hand up. He looked down at her hand before lifting his own underneath it. She placed her small hand on his palm and smiled having made a new friend now.
