Fairies don't have an upper limit to their natural lifespan, but that doesn't mean they don't keep track of time and celebrate various occasions.
Sadly when they reach several hundreds years of age, birthdays don't mean as much anymore, so they only celebrate them every few years. That is, if the fairy still remembers when her birthday was :D
