Lol I saw this and had a totally diffrent interpretation from the discription
I thought the small one was erm.... on the feral side of things and was getting a little to "excited" and that was a fire extingisher he was reaching for.
(ps last time I had to deal with an "excited" dog was in an elderly couples home after church....
