The sun was all like "I wanna shine!"
And the clouds were all like "Fuck YUU!"
Which I am grateful for, as I do not often appreciate the sun's hotness.

Oh Fuji...
My first camera was an old hand-me down Fuji STX-2. But of course, like any pup, neglected it until my mother decided that it was better suited for the garbage can rather than my bookshelf. *Facepaws as he realizes how adept he could be with a manual SLR now if he tried to learn it then*

I rather like the older digital cameras. Most of the new ones are hyper complex, and sometimes you'll get a better photo just letting the camera roll with it and not really messing with the fine details. I could name a few times that I've lost a perfectly good picture due to messin with the camera.
Covering an airshow is a bitch with a complex camera. With a simple camera and some good post-shot photo rework, the same effects can be achieved. There was also a time when my buddy was trying to get a photo with his phonecam, and he had a uber-new phone, and he couldn't get the shot. I whip out my T-mobile freebee phone, and get the pic on the first shot. Technology is not always the answer. It all boils down to knowing your tools.
