Railway Series Booster
Decided to practice writing with this piece, which is me trying out the script way of writing a story. Here, Alice invents a special device and had Dustin be the test subject, with some hilarious results.

[Dustin, Alice, Jake, and Cobalt are in Alice's lab. Dustin is holding a weird-looking helmet that is connected to a series of contraptions]
Dustin: Are you sure that this Railway Series booster gadget of yours is really gonna work?
Alice: Of course it's going to work. This record; [points to a record player with a record in it] has all the audio narration from all 42 Railway series books, which will run through the cables connected to it to the CD player, than to the Mp3 player and the stereo, before going through the wires connected to the stereo into the Railway Series Booster Helmet, which will direct it straight into your very mind.
Dustin: Wow, you must've taken a lot of time designing this.
Alice: Not that much time. Anyways, this latest and greatest invention of mine is powered by electricity hitting the antennas connected to the record player, courtesy of Cobalt.
Cobalt: Naturally.
Alice: Alright Cobalt, let's put this baby to the test.
Jake: can't wait to see this.
[Cobalt uses Thunderbolt on the antennas, the booster activates, causing Dustin to jumpstart from the energy]
Alice: Now we bestow the knowledge of the late, great reverend's books upon you!
[Dustin starts jittering]
Alice: Yes! It's working... IT'S WORKING!
Jake: Science is so amazing!
Alice: Turn it up, Cobalt. More power. We need, MORE POWER!
Cobalt: More power! are you sure, Alice?
Alice: Turn it up... to TEN!
Cobalt: To TEN?
Alice: DO IT!
[Cobalt uses Thunderbolt, this time stronger. Dustin is now spazzing uncontrollably.]
Jake: Guys, I think it's time to stop!
Alice: OK, Enough Power, Cobalt!
Cobalt: Alright! [ends his Thunderbolt, the Booster stops]
[Dustin stops spazzing, and droops down, the helmet also drooping]
Jake: Yeah, I think that was too much power guys.
[Jake, Alice, and Cobalt surround Dustin]
Alice: Dustin? Speak to us!
Jake: Dustin?
Alice: Say something!
Cobalt: Dude, you ok?
[Cobalt lifts the helmet up, revealing Dustin's face, Dustin looks dazed]
Jake: you alright?
[Dustin jolts a couple times before spewing out lines from the Railway Series]
Dustin: Onceuponatime,thewasalittleenginecalled"Edward".Helivedinashedwithfiveotherengine.TheywereallbiggerthanEdward,andboastedabou

[Matt and Matilda walk in, Alice covers Dustin's mouth with her hand]
Matt: hey guys.
Alice: Oh, hey there.
Jake: Um... How are you guys.
Matt: we're fine.
[Matt and Matilda see the Railway Series Booster, Jake, Cobalt, and Alice's nervous expressions, and Dustin]
Matilda: What are you guys up to?
Matt: And what is that thing on Dustin's head?
Matilda: and why do you [referring to Alice] have your hand over Dustin's mouth? I think he's trying to say something. [Matilda moves Alice's hand away]
Dustin: -Then,battered,weary,butunbeaten,Edwardsteamedin.TheFatControllersteppedangrillyforward.Hepointedtotheclock,butexcitedpassenger

Jake: I love that Railway Series story!
Matt: Ok, what is going on here?
Alice: Well you see... [Alice removes the helmet from Dustin, who gets up and begins weirdly pacing around the room] I built this contraption called "The Railway Series Booster" with the intent of putting the knowledge from the books into the head of whomever wears the helmet. You can see how well that turned out.
Matt: [Looking at Dustin] Yeah, I can see that.
Matilda: So that's what this weird helmet does? [begins putting it on]
Cobalt: Matilda, I don't think you should-
[Matilda puts on the helmet, and jolts up]
Jake: Oh boy...
Matt: So how long do you think the effect on Dustin will last?
Alice: Probably until the next story Thomasfan95 writes.
Matt: hopefully it'll be before then...
[Dustin falls over backwards onto the floor]
