"I managed to collect so many berries. I can't wait to use these. I'm sure I can make some good preserves with a bunch of these." Maria said happily as held up the bucket full of berries. She turned to continue down the pathway. Turning back a bit and waved at Shadow to follow along side her instead of trailing behind. He moved and kept a steady pace to walk next to her.
Once back at the cabin she prepared more of the soup from the large fish. Pouring some into a spare bowl and handed it to Shadow before sitting down next to him with her own bowl. He looked down at her slightly as she sipped her soup before lapping at his own. This was nice.
