[Random] - Mhchlurn the Grippli Druid
(His name in Grippli is Mhchlurn, (Muh-frog croak sound-lurn) but since non-Grippli have trouble with casual croaking noises in speech, he's happy to go by Murk with non-Grippli.)
His tribe take pride in the fact they often bare Beastkin young, claiming it's part of a connection to nature that other tribes lack. Many of his tribesfolk sport fur, feathers, scales or tails entirely abnormal to a common Grippli's physique. When they come of age, they hunt a beast of the same species as their Beastkin heritage - which is where he got his amulet.
He didn't fight the creature, however - when he found it, he could quickly tell it was in great pain. Though it caught him with a nasty slash across his face in its' panic, he was able to calm it down and traced the source of it's pain to an infection in its jaw. He quickly yanked out the afflicted tooth and after the bear initially went to lash out again, it suddenly calmed, realizing the source of it's pain was gone.
He kept the tooth as a trophy and a reminder that sometimes you have to hurt someone to help them. The tribe's witch doctor saw potential in his ability to commune so easily with nature, and sent him to the Magaambya to study.
I literally had this guy thought out in my head and drawn within like a half hour of the DM making his announcement. God-damn I love the level of canon not-even-homebrew customization this game offers you.
I don't have a problem shut up D:
I tried to combine the dark spotty textures of those colorful tropical frogs with the more 'natural' tones of a bear's fur. I like the result. Also, BIG WEBBIES.
