I usually don't submit my sketches but if I do, I just throw them together poorly on a white BG. I thought that this time I could try to do something different. :)
I have been roaming palaeontology sites lately and I rediscovered my love for these awesome creatures.
all these sketches come from my A5 sketchbook and were mostly done in the metro or bus.
That is also why none of these sketches are faithful depiction of a given pterosaur species. They're all drawn from memory without any reference.
So forgive me the huge errors here.
Also ignore the writing on the page since it is absolutely not related to the drawings at all xp
Pterosaurs are incredibly awesome creatures...
But also so poorly known by the general public. Most people know and accept that dromaesaurs were feathered but still recently I have heard someone say that "pterodactyls" had bat-like wings.
