Being quite finished with my previous World Building project (Kael's), I've started working on a couple of new projects!

One of them involves a planet akin to Earth where the surface became hostile to humans, forcing a portion of them to retreat to the skies. Here they built their own floating cities above the clouds, as well as boats that fly. With different visions of the future, multiple factions came to be. One of these factions is looking up towards the stars.

Seeing the planet's sudden change towards humans, this faction heeds her message and wishes to use a great and ancient ark as spaceship with the purpose to leave the planet once and for all. But to finish the great construct, they need certain rare ressources, some held by the other factions.

So for now, the great Ark serves as their mothership; a colossal futuristic flying city that pierces the clouds with a power unseen anywhere else in the skies.

Come Yr'ael, a mysterious human from a faction that was attacked long ago. It was a faction of transhumanists who wished to create special humans that could return to the surface so that they may go back to their world and life past. He is the result of one of their successful experiments, giving him abilities that some would concider simply impossible by some unknown science lost to their destruction.

He now stays in this new home of his; the gigantic ark.

The story is still quite early in its creation and things might change here and there, along with names given to places, factions and constructs! I might make a new account just for it if the World Building goes quite far!
