More Cuddle Spuds, this time a baby Geoterran Wolfdog.
Find Me On:
Fur Affinity ◈ Weasyl When I first designed the child form back in 2004, I referred to it as a "husky", and it was the child form to both the Geoterran Wolf and Collie forms. While I still describe it as a "husky", it may be more accurate to refer to it as a "wolfdog", and I will probably flip-flop between both terms since I am indecisive like that.
Also there's that whole "describing an alien creature using terms humans would recognize" aspect of the nomenclature that doesn't get acknowledged often enough in sci-fi and fantasy settings at play here, I suppose...Posted using PostyBirb

as said it still cute regardless how it looks the teeth make it look abit monsterous but cute with the body n sometimes its hard to get a husky like creature....truth is all u need is just add white to the face and abit to the chest and stomach and itll look abit husky like actually ignore most of that u just need sorta a white line up the middle of the face
I guess I should have mentioned that he is technically a "monster", this is an update of/expansion on one of my really old creature designs from back when my major influences were Pokemon and Digimon. That explains the teeth, and although I get the feeling that teething is a nightmare for these little potatoes he will need those big teeth to hunt magic deer when he gets older.
I suppose I can just invoke that same "fantasy creature that is a stylized representation of features from one or more real-world animal" explanation for the coloring if need be. Or maybe give him a playmate that looks more traditionally "husky" or "wolfdog" and just chalk his coloration up to taking after one parent more than the other.
You may or may not be pleased to know that as an adult he'll likely have weird stripes that look like they belong on a tiger, and big saber fangs that you can stack doughnuts on, and the ability to breathe fire. Right now I think the worst he can do is bite your toes and blow bubbles, thankfully.

truth is imma put it like this just give him a husky playmate but leave him the same style as he is n have a husky (brown or black a husky can be those 2 colors or what ever color you suggest) and for me there ya go lol...basically its not a matter of whether if im pleased or not its a matter of your own opinion of what you think looks good because long run is the pic and that lil guy are yours for design and you do what you wish to it...for i do not judge...i only can give my apreciation..n i honestly dont care what you do with it..long as you like what you make that is the main thing
That's alright, I noticed you offered some actual helpful advice and I wanted to respond, it's definitely something I'll keep in mind the next time I design a wolfdog character, thanks!
I just figured it would be rather rude to ignore you, or hit you with an "erm, actually, it's my style" like so many tend to do.

ey i wouldnt of found it too rude but i thank you fot the concideration and ay your styles are your style i am in some what of a wrong but ay all it takes is what you feel fits perfectly its not what i or any one says that makes the art its what and how you do it that makes the art
One of my new favorite things to do is torment one of my friends by trying to role-play as one of these little spuds. Being baby monsters, they don't really do much besides make sounds, wiggle, and roll into a ball--but the idea of one escaping from a baby bouncer by rolling into a ball and launching itself from the bouncer like a slingshot is quite amusing!
