I decided to draw Mercury, one of my favorite OCs as ive been trying slowly trying to get out of my art block.

This art is unfinished and i highly doubt i will finish it but i think it looks somewhat alright for not drawing in about a month or two.

Mercury is a very hard working sailor, he had a ship that was in the most perfect conditions as it was passed down to him by relatives that told him its his time to live on with this ship and maybe pass it on later in life. The ship was large and advanced in many ways and it housed not only Mercury, but a bunch of his friends as well.

He would constantly have parties and events with these friends on his ship and had a blast every night for as long as he could remember

There was however, a stormy night at sea that he made sure everyone was safe in, unaware how bad the storm was going to be. At the end of the storm, he was left alone as all his friends had been thrown off board by the waves leaving only him behind. That event happened a few years ago and the ship hasnt really moved from its spot because he refuses to sail it anywhere else so he just..lives out at sea on this now busted ship with a torn sail and all sorts of other issues.

He blames himself for the damages on the ship even if he wasnt in control of the storm..now, even the smallest waves will take loose bits of the ship away with them.

He stays alone on the ship and checks on the rooms his friends used to stay with, looking at their belongings but being respectful enough not to really alter where things were before but he does keep the rooms clean. Now he just sometimes dances alone, talks to himself and sleeps most of his days away, but always believes his friends will come back.
