Another way of looking at it is that the knight had plans on breaking into Thrax's home, murdering him and stealing his property for status back home and what's happening right now after being discovered is some well deserved karma coming around full circle.

Hehe. Just something about prey being caught dangling from a rope and unable to escape a large pred, that I've always had a fondness for.
I love the way Thrax looks to be teasing and having some fun with the knight with that drooling tongue, before making a snack out of him, and the knight works perfectly, with the legs crossed around the rope and overall look of 'ooops'.
