As the seventh round begins, the two fighters approach each other with vastly slower steps. In a combination of exhaustion and caution they hesitate to make any fast moves. After a brief moment of the two men pacing around the ring, Tarrow initiates the first attacks. He throws out a few aimless jabs as Fen takes a step back to stay clear of him. As the two mice face each other blinded, Tarrow now struggles to make any sort of solid hit.

However, he soon picks up on Fen’s steps as he paces away from his attacks and throws a hook in that direction. With a echoing smack it hits Fen’s swollen face as he now tumbles back to the ropes grunting in pain. Hearing the result, Tarrow presses forward with an onslaught of fast blows. Fen curls up against the ropes as he’s forced to take the strikes. He realizes he’ll have to take a gamble soon if wants to stay in the fight.

As soon as he feels Tarrow’s punches begin to slow down he throws a wild uppercut. It crashes into the mouse’s cheek as it causes him to briefly slip out of consciousness and fall towards Fen. Before he hits the mat he manages to grasp onto Fen’s body. The two warriors now remain stuck on the ropes gasping for air yet again. After a minute passes, Fen starts punching weakly at Tarrow’s torso while he refuses to let go.

Fen’s stamina gives out again as the two begin to exchange words.

Fen: “I’m gonna bring you down, sooner or later.”

Tarrow: “Not at all. I can go all night with you…”

The round ends with the fighters using the ropes to hold their bodies up as they reach their respective corners…
