At least the physical laws we're bound by. I don't mind if magic's got its own set of rules and laws it has to abide by (honestly, I prefer it when it does, it adds depth to the whole thing), but if I can't toss fireballs from my fingertips without ignoring at least one corner of the Combustion Triangle, it just sucks the fun out of it.
My general feeling on it is, if you've got some manner of magical energy that enables the use of magic, let that substitute for the Fuel corner of the Triangle. Heat's simple enough to provide, and Oxygen's readily available in most situations, so one less-mundane substitution's plenty.
**WHUNCH!!**
"AGGGH! MY LEGS!"
"Shhh! Shut up, I said you'd be fine."
"MY ANKLES HAVE COME UP THROUGH MY KNEES! THIS IS NOT FINE!"
"I said shush! Look, the bleeding has stopped already. Just give it a minute."
"A MINUTE?!? I'LL BE DEAD OF BLOOD LO...what...the..."
*horrific snapping, popping and squelching noises*
"See? You have fast healing. Now hush, or you'll draw attention."
