The long hours were finally over. The last patron in the bar left. The morning lights were about ready to enter in the window. Sitting down on the bar counter it was finally time he could rest.
With the bustling nature of his job there was never a moment to rest but now. All he could ask for and better yet; looking up, he realised he would get to have that rest with his loving partner who came in to pick him up for the ride home.
I literally just got this guy, don't have a name for him yet, and felt a need to try to sketch him -- forgetting I don't know anything about sketching and really need to learn how to do more simple art work to help build me up to get better at more complex things. I have a few more poses I really want to do but thought I'd just post this one to get it out there since my laptop is dying and I need to find the charger.
I'll try to do more legit 'sketches' for the other poses and stop trying to do 'full pieces'. It really does exhaust me trying to draw because I often go too far and that's not going to help me improve and do more art. But it explains why I barely do any in the first place. One piece takes so much out of me even when not trying so hard like this one. I need to learn to just do simple things, sketch, relax. Stop being so worried about being perfect.

Hey! I don't think you should be so hard on yourself <3 You learn from every bit of art you do, complex or simple. Though I do certainly understand the frustration; I am also displeased with my own drawing ability (hence I mostly use bases) and occasionally endeavor to draw something way above my skill level >_>;; The frustration feelings are not fun =(
I really enjoy how you did the hip spikes and the claws, plus the pose has tons of attitude! It's a really snazzy art, I also love the hands!! I'm so jazzed I inspired you to create something <3 <3 <3
