As everyone (probably) expected, Floatzel wasn’t going to not lose complete control and balloon comically. One does not simply intake a huge amount of helium and expect to not turn into a weather balloon xD.

In this case, the trio made their way to the local park to watch some of the carnival rides and attractions being set up. All the while, Floatzel played around with helium inside of him, inflating various parts of himself to show off various tricks he’d learned. These include controlled floating in the air, jumping to great heights, and squeezing into tight spaces to name a few. Unbeknownst to Floatzel, each time he moved the gas around himself, more and more helium-filled his body. While Floatzel was being careful with managing his inflation, he couldn’t shake a growing tingling sensation and cloudiness in his thoughts.

Unfortunately for him, as the group passed one of the carnival’s stalls, a loud popping noise rang out next to him, ringing everyone's ears. Turning to the noise revealed a party popper. But, this momentary lapse in concentration was enough for pressure to leak out and fill out Floatzel’s gut in seconds. Floatzel panicked as he watched his exposed cream hide balloon around his coat, rounding outwards and beginning to cover his (also) ballooning feet. In his haste, Floatzel stepped back behind Lucario and Cinderace and reached for his chest trying to control inflation.

But, from Floatzel’s perspective, it was like the flood gates had been partially opened, and closing them would be a monumental effort (especially with so much pressure already inside him, ready to take full advantage of the elastic weasel). The orange weasel steadily continued to round outwards and was visibly struggling against growing surges in pressure inside him. With each surge, Floatzel’s feet, belly, flotation sacs, tails, and paws all swelled out straining against himself as Floatzel tried to keep himself from inflating.

A cacophony of groans, rubber stretching, and a balloon inflating caught Cinderace’s attention. Turning to the source, Cinderace was surprised to see Floatzel inflating all over behind him, but marked it off as just another balloon show like those Floatzel had done earlier.

Floatzel tried to put on a less than reassuring smile, but even he was unprepared for a sudden wave of pressure that overwhelmed his senses. An audible FWOOMPH filled the area as Floatzel’s entire body visibly surged outwards with his belly audibly squeaking as it inflated out of Floatzel’s coat. Another moment of light-headedness caused another lapse in concentration leaving behind an exceedingly round orange and cream weather balloon filling out all over. Eventually, Floatzel lost his balance and fell backward onto the ground. Only at his current size and buoyancy, Floatzel’s fall was slow and gradual as he lightly bounced across the ground before coming to rest a short distance away.

As Floatzel regained some of his senses, the sound of rubber stretching filled his ears and the sight of his flotation sacs and belly ballooning filled his view. Floatzel could only watch helplessly as his limbs were splayed to his sides and movement became more and more restricted. At this point, Floatzel knew he was just a passenger for what was going to be a very big ride.

Was practicing with Floatzel's expressions for this mini-series alongside some funny poses. Maybe it's just me, but I just think it's funny to see a Floatzel ballooning out of control as his clothes strain against a swelling balloon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Curious what others think.
