“If you had told me… three years ago… that I’d be joining this band of morons, I’d have called you mad, Robbie!”

As much as she hates to admit it, if it wasn’t for the illustrious Dick Grayson, Sunngifu would still be out on the street with no place to call home. He was the one who struck a bargain with her to join his new hero team, which ultimately led to Sunny spending a lot of time with him. There are times when Sunny thinks that he has a stick up his ass, falling into moody spells and making poor decisions. Sunny rightfully points out his faults, and puts the team back on track when Dick loses his way. That’s just how Sunny is- she won’t compromise her morals for anything.

But, Sunny isn’t exactly a model hero, either. She will throw herself into everything, even if it means she gets seriously hurt in the process. Dick knows this, and will often exploit her stubbornness to make sure she doesn’t needlessly throw her life away. He’s the voice of reason and the one who’s there to pick up Sunny when she falls, even when she’s not too keen on accepting his help. Being the natural leader of the Titans, Dick feels he bears the responsibility of taking care of the Titans under his wing- Sunny included, as difficult as she might be at times.

Even with their differences, one thing is always true- neither of them are hurting on their own, and they’re more alike than they’ll ever admit. Dick will always be there to drag Sunny back home, even if he has to put her back together again every time.
