Jack was exploring some ruins of a city he came across on a seemingly dead planet or at least it look that way, inside one of the buildings he found out that it wasn't just some ancient ruins but a old facility long abandon and left for time to consume.

Going deeper to the lower levels he found a room full with some vials, most broken or empty except for a few, one which had a purplish glowing liquid inside. Curiously he reach out to grab it, but after holding it for a bit the vail exploded in his hand, the unknown content within quickly sipping into his right hand almost as if his body was absorbing it.

Jack recoil back a bit, shaking his right hand now trying to get that stuff off but it was already spreading within him causing his hand to lose form a bit as it becomes almost gooy while cracks started to form and spread up his arm, more of the purple liquid leaking from them. He tried getting out of the facility as the unknown corruption spread through his body, changing him and his nanonites, in a way it hurt yet another it was strangely soothing almost as if he was...

Once outside the skies had darkened as rain pour down on him, he couldn't reach his ship in-time and even if he did what could he do against this? A virus? A corruption his nanonites couldn't fight against, he fell on his knees and stare up to the raining sky, his blue eyes slowly changing as the corruption consume him...he only thought about his friends, if this was the end, what better way to spend your final moments.
