Just for fun till I come up with something real, here's everyone's favorite fast blue hedgehog! Of course since he isn't colored in this pic I guess I shouldn't say blue. Anyway, when it comes to other people's chars, I don't really draw them like they are. To put it simply, I draw my own stylized versions of those chars. I do this because in reality if I draw another's char like intended, I feel like I'm copying, and I hate that.

Although I try to keep the original feel and idea of the char, I put my own little twist on it. I suppose this is the reason I haven't asked other people permission to draw their chars. I've seen some pretty nasty journals about the artists getting all pissed off. Usually when others don't draw their chars to a T.
