My prime collaborator and purveyor of all things weird and wonderful, 
Gingatokkyu , worked together with me to come up with the idea for this little (big) guy right here.
In essence, he's part of a wrestling league in the near future where different competitors sport different enhancements to stand out from the crowd. Once just your average joe, he was convinced by his manager's plan to help set him apart. He'd always been good at acting as the 'heel' (or bad guy) in the ring, so he was to try and lose his first match. However, he would come back stronger - by copying his previous opponent's best attributes and integrating them into his body. Now taking on the mantle of 'Beastmaster', he's undisputedly one of the league's biggest attractions, both literally and metaphorically.
Although his animals may seem to get out of control in the ring, it's all a tactic to unnerve his opponents and put the crowd on the edge of their seats. No issue there - he was specifically chosen for this role due to his body and mind being able to handle such a radical change. No one knows just what new feature he's going to sport at his next appearance.
