Another beautiful YCH commission with the talented and appreciated artist

I especially liked this concept because of the location:
Old towns with cobblestones, lanterns, narrow alleys and wide streets have a special charm in winter, when the snow is quietly trickling, the light of warm, busy houses falls on the pavement and only a few souls are still walking on the empty streets in the evening....
They conjure up romanticised images of bygone times in London, Prague, Paris etc. - or fantastic worlds like those in Harry Potter.
Probably a Friesian stallion like Steppenfire would have pulled a carriage through such a street...
But here he walks freely... in the footsteps of his predecessors... under the rhythmic, monotonous clatter of his iron-shod hooves...
and the breath from his nostrils becomes visible in the cold like steam from one of the "newfangled" machines that have taken the arduous work off horses like him.
