“Rori likes you, does she? Then good riddance! Just… don’t feed her pork products, she’s allergic.”

Being no larger than a parrot, Rori has been Dragonheart’s faithful dragon companion ever since she was a child. Sure, they bicker a lot like siblings would, but this little dragon holds more secrets than her innocent little visage would let on. Dragons live for an extraordinarily long time, even Rori, despite her small stature and inability to talk. Rori even behaves and thinks like a person does, just like any other dragon. What she lacks in size and speech she makes up for in speed and undetectability, as her small size lends well to infiltration.

But, it’s also believed that Rori has an important connection to Sunny’s past, before she became a half dragon. Rori often acts independently, and has acted suspicious before, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to say she’s hiding something. If Sunny could ask her, it would be much easier to get Rori to spill her secrets, but she gets away with it solely because she can’t speak. In theory, Jericho could use his powers to tap into the little dragon’s mind directly, but doing such a thing without consent wouldn’t be the best way to go about it.

Regardless, Rori has been there for both Sunny and her brother, Wyot for a long time, and even though Sunny tends to be stubborn, she does show the rare soft side of herself with Rori the most. They are bound together through a strong bond and the same goals, so Sunny wouldn’t trade Rori for anything or anyone- no matter how hard she tries to convince people of the opposite. Rori has always been her best friend, and Sunny would do anything to protect one of the only two known true dragons left in existence.

It’s up to them to carry on the legacy of the dragons, living on the hope there may be more out there.
