Kiara ran into a clearing that had the Outlands in perfect view and stopped to take it all in. As seedy and dingy the place was, it always tickled the princess's curiosity about what could be out there. Her parents always told her stories about their perilous adventures from their close encounter with evil snakes to the Elephant Graveyard. She smiled and swished her tail eagerly thinking of dangers she might have to brave. Personally, she hoped to wrestle cub eating pythons.
"Sneaking off to put yourself in mortal peril, are ya?" a snide voice called out from behind Kiara. "I swear it runs in the family." The princess's vibe of wonder was thoroughly soured the minute she recognized the obnoxious character in question. "And hello to you too, Timon," she replied in a contemptible tone of voice. Her bright smile sank into a sullen scowl before turning around to face the meerkat and his partner. "I guess my adventured would need some sidekicks."
Timon gave out his most sarcastic laugh to date. "We prefer the term 'lively support' if you don't mind," he retorted. "What I mind is you two hovering over me like Pumbaa's flies when I just want a little freedom," Kiara declared. "If Dad would let me, I'd make the crocodiles look like chumps." She put on a rather put-out expression the more she whined like a kitten. "How am I suppose to rule the Pride Lands if I can't go beyond and challenge myself?" the princess moaned.
"Work with us, Princess," Pumbaa began, trying to sound more diplomatic. "You wouldn't last a second out there at your age." He felt his bowels gurgle but decided to ignore it. "Heck, we barely last a day trying to help your father out back in the Jungle." He shared a weary sigh with Timon from the memory alone. "The waterfall was too close for comfort," the meerkat agreed when he heard his partner's gut grumbling as usual. A sly scheme began to form in his tiny head.
"If you think you can stop me, be my guest," Kiara cockily claimed with a sneer spread across her face. "I ain't going nowhere unless you make me." She saw Pumbaa gulp and knew then that she was calling their bluff. "A girl of action could use the warm-up before facing crocodile." The tomboy princess spread out her legs and swished her tail eagerly. "I'll be generous and let you take the first shot, assuming you can land one." Dad was gonna kill her but it'd be worth it.
"You got it, cupcake," Timon snidely accepted, earning a look of concern from Pumbaa. "Ya sure, Timon?" he asked quietly into his partner's ear. "Simba didn't say nothing about getting, erm, rough with her." Timon hopped onto Pumbaa's head confidently. "Trust me, buddy, I know what I'm doing for once." He whispered his game plan into the warthog's ears and earned a very cheeky chuckle in response. "Oh yeah," the pudgy pig agreed heartily. "That oughta do it."
Kiara scoffed in her impatience. "Ladies first then," she decided with a cocky smile before going towards the pair. "I'll get Pumbaa in the gut and have him pin Timon down," she told herself, confident in her game plan. However, the second that she got six feet within the warthog was when her "opponent" jumped around to present his hindquarters to her. "Running away, are we?" the princess proclaimed like the heroes in stories. "Nobody has ever outran a lion and live-"
BRAAAAAAAPPPPTTTTTT!
A green gas cloud erupted from Pumbaa's hindquarters directly into Kiara's face and nearly obscured her entire head. The princess put on the breaks but was far too late to keep herself from inhaling the foul flatulence through her nostrils. When the gas rose, it revealed a similar hue of green had overcome Kiara's face as the stench overwhelming her sense. Her eyes teared up from the potent pong while she stumbled back and pressed her lips together, trying not to hurl.
"Chea... ters..." was all Kiara could moan out before her eyes rolled up and her vision blanked out. She collapsed upon her right side with her mouth open gaping wide and her tongue rolled out. Timon whistled in awe after getting down from Pumbaa and inspecting the princess's borderline comatose body. "Pumbaa, you are the gift that keep on giving," he praised his partner with a triumphant smirk. "Just the cure for a bad attitude." The cub's paw twitched a tad.
"I've done well to refine my craft," Pumbaa proclaimed proudly, chuckling at Kiara's embarrassing state. "I was gonna hold back but Little Miss Girl-Of-Action probably wanted me to go all out." He sniffed the fainted lion cub and can tell that his stench has embedded itself upon her. "I only hope Simba doesn't mind our methods." The warthog could still remember how he had farted in the then ex-prince's face all night much to his shame. "Nala won't enjoy bath time today."
Timon waved his hand with a dismissive "Pfffft" while Pumbaa picked up the now drooling Kiara with his snout. "We'll call it a happy accident if they ask," he promised his partner. "If anything, Simba will be glad to have something to simmer down his little spitfire." The meerkat led the way toward Pride Rock with the warthog carrying the princess back home. "Though let's try to hustle before Stinking Beauty wakes up and rips us a new one." He gulped at the high likelihood.
"In that case, I better binge those dung beetles," Pumbaa laughed while following Timon.
