This drawing is my own interpretation of the shamans in the Vilous universe. In the
hope of making this one better known.
I greatly invite you to come and consult their Wikipedia for more complementary
information.
A tiny update I got special info from the creator himself. It gives me additional info to
them.

The Shamans of the northern lands are part of the three clans that compose the Shigu.
They are the most spiritual beings among them.
They are one of the first to use a form of writing and vocabulary.
They have the ability to brave the miasm of the dangerous Talyxian forests, And so they
have a better understanding of these highly hostile environments.
Shamans do have these umbrellas in their equipment, they usually have an umbrella
like a magician can have a magic cane.
Most of the shaman's umbrellas are made of beautiful decoration and are unique. They
aren't seem to just like avoid wet, or direct sunbeam.
Some vivid patterns were printed on the surface to use as a threat for Talyxians. The
the pattern can be abstract, and similar to those venomous frogs that we found on
earth and they often represent a face.
To threaten the Talyxians wildlife, but they also use the umbrella to dance, spell, for
ceremonies, to shield and etc...
