Someone on Twitch suggested drawing Ash & Zyak for MerMay, and it led to this amazingly perfect AU idea: Ash as a merman prince rescuing Navy officer Zyak from pirates! Soooo many ideas popped into my head with this one, but I have zero business writing AU scenes when I haven’t even released the second chapter yet 🥲
I just love how their colors worked so well for these roles, plus Ash gets to stay dripping in accessories (and being a spoiled brat who bites off more than he can chew at all times).
