Sharlow escaped slavery in Harmonia, and fled into Aestoria. There, he found work as a courier. He was swift, reliable, and always made sure to be courteous to everybody he encountered. Eventually, he became a trusted courier for the government of Aestoria itself. He loves his new job, and he has an immense sense of pride in his work. He felt that each document he delivered helped Aestoria get just a little bit closer to victory... a tiny step towards the destruction of the people who once enslaved him.
